The on target earning potential for this role is £38,430) - made up of a base salary of up to £36,000, committed minimum tronc of £2,430
ABOUT THE JOB:
As Pub Manager at Henry’s, you’ll have full responsibility for the performance of the pub - from guest experience and team culture to financial results and operational standards.
You’ll lead from the front, setting clear expectations, building a strong team, and ensuring Henry’s continues to thrive as a welcoming, well-run local.
This role combines hands-on service leadership with commercial and strategic responsibility. You’ll recruit, train, and develop your team, manage costs and margins, and take pride in delivering a consistently excellent pub experience - day in, day out.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INVOLVE:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day and long-term performance of the pub.
Lead, recruit, and develop a strong front of house team, setting a positive and professional culture.
Be a visible leader on the floor during core service times (12–3pm and 6–9pm as a minimum).
Deliver consistently high standards of service, hospitality, and atmosphere.
Own guest satisfaction, handling feedback and complaints proactively and professionally.
Manage rotas, staffing levels, and labour costs in line with budgets and business needs.
Take responsibility for food and beverage margins, stock control, ordering, and stock takes.
Ensure all company standards, SOPs, and licensing laws are fully understood and followed.
Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety, food hygiene, fire safety, and security procedures.
Oversee daily briefings, service standards, and presentation across all areas of the pub.
Manage financial controls, including cash handling, GP targets, payroll awareness, and reporting.
Keep the pub and surrounding areas looking their best at all times — inside and out.
Drive the business forward, identifying opportunities to grow sales, build loyalty, and strengthen Henry’s place in the community.
