Chef de Partie

A total package of up to £32,000.

The on target earning potential of this role is made up of a base salary of up to £32k, and an additional qualified amount in Tronc.

ABOUT THE JOB:

As Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section, ensuring it runs smoothly and consistently throughout service. You’ll work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes that reflect Henry’s commitment to seasonal ingredients, thoughtful cooking, and attention to detail.

This is a role for someone confident in their craft, organised under pressure, and ready to support the wider kitchen team. You’ll help guide junior chefs, maintain standards, and play an important part in creating a kitchen culture built on respect, teamwork, and pride in what leaves the pass.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INVOLVE:

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your section, ensuring it is organised, prepared, and service-ready.

  • Deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavour.

  • Work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to uphold company standards and kitchen procedures.

  • Support and guide junior chefs, helping with training and day-to-day development.

  • Maintain strong attention to detail across preparation, cooking, and presentation.

  • Contribute ideas to menu development that reflect seasonality, locality, and the Woodford food ethos.

  • Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently ahead of service.

  • Manage food storage, stock rotation, and labelling in line with Health & Safety requirements.

  • Control waste and portioning to help meet food cost and margin targets.

  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen team, stepping in to support other sections when needed.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment at all times.

  • Uphold all Health & Safety, food hygiene, and fire safety standards within the kitchen.

  • Arrive on time, well-presented, and ready to contribute positively to the team.

  • Raise any issues or concerns promptly with the Sous or Head Chef.
