A total package of up to £38,000.

The on target earning potential of this role is made up of a base salary of up to £34k, and an additional qualified estimate of £4k in Tronc.

We’re looking for a Sous Chef with drive, creativity, and a genuine love of great food. From developing menus to nurturing new talent, you’ll help shape a kitchen that runs smoothly, cooks beautifully, and takes pride in every plate that leaves the pass.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INVOLVE:

  • Lead by example, setting clear standards for your team and ensuring they are met at all times.

  • Encourage attention to detail throughout the kitchen and maintain a culture of care and precision.

  • Follow company and Head Chef standards to maintain consistency across all dishes.

  • Monitor customer feedback — positive and negative — and take action to continually improve.

  • Manage kitchen margins through effective stock control, waste reduction, and accurate monitoring of deliveries.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture where everyone feels supported and motivated to deliver great service.

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen health and safety, including stock rotation, food labelling, cleaning schedules, and completion of H&S records.
